New Years Resolutions – Week 30 Update

Week 30 UpdateSo this last week was pretty great for me. Finally got a tentative job offer – woohoo! So much pressure taken off my shoulders it’s unbelievable. Then I got called to give permission to have references called for another job. What? Of course – call away! Hope to get another offer call – wouldn’t that be awesome? It would be a tough choice though. One’s in San Antonio the other in DC. Lots of thinking to do and soul searching if another offer comes in. Here is my New Years Resolutions – Week 30 Update.

The last week has been good personally and workout wise – and eating. Just not weight-loss wise. This is the first time in a while that I have actually gotten mad at Don't Really Regretthe scale – like want to stomp on it each time I get off it, mad. I think and rethink about what I have eaten, what workouts I did, how I tried to be as careful as possible to not overdo it. So frustrating when you think you are going to wake up a loser (in a good way) but end up being a gainer. I luckily did not let it derail me (even with the constant up and down, yo-yo’ing) from eating healthy and staying on track with my calories, but it does get in my head and try to mess me up. Still doing really good with my tracking calories, so not going to Exercise Changes Youstop now!

My workouts are going great. Wake up every morning and do the July Workout Challenge – and I am so freaking sore it’s ridiculous! I am so proud of myself for keeping it up, cause it is getting harder and harder! 30 jump squats, 85 jumping jacks, 30 plank jacks? Yowza dude! I have also gotten up each morning and done a 30 minute walking tape and doing PiYo in the evenings. Oh man. I have had some sore legs! Seriously the PiYo does a ton of leg moves – like up and down lunges and up and down squats with touching the floor. Tons of leg moves. And arms too – planks and down dogs. Gosh I am just sore. It’s a good sore, but wow! I feel like an 80-year-old!
